Dr. Talha Farooq graduated from the Honours Kinesiology program at York University. He decided to pursue his career as a chiropractor due to his strong athletic background in soccer, running, basketball, and ice hockey as well as his passion for manual therapy.
He currently works as a clinic owner and director at PTC in Brampton as well as Regenesis Pain Management and Rehab Clinic in Vaughan.
He is a movement focused therapist and treats numerous athletes at his clinics. He holds certifications in medical Acupuncture from McMaster University, Athletic Movement Assessment and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stablization. More than a snap, crackle, pop chiro, he spends time correcting movement patterns and uses an individualized and comprehensive approach to manual therapy which consists of both passive and active treatment.
He currently plays soccer and ice hockey in a men’s league and recently started playing squash. He enjoys backcountry camping, skiing, fishing and hunting.
